GOOD FirstClass problems 20/09/11 @ 09:10 FirstClass is running very slowly and may not allow users to open messages. This issue has been reported to RBWM who manage FirstClass and has been given incident number 52895. 20/09/11 @ 11:42 RBWM have asked for more information and are currently investigating the cause. 21/09/11 @ 08:20 Issue still ongoing, no further communication from RBWM. 21/09/11 @ 08:35 Re raised fault, no further communication from RBWM. 22/09/11 @ 08:46 Issue still ongoing, no further communication from RBWM. 22/09/11 @ 12:08 Spoken to John Tordoff, Technical Services Manager at RBWM. He will be looking into the issue and get back to us... 23/09/11 @ 09:52 Left a voicemail message with John Tordoff asking him to get back to us with an update... 23/09/11 @ 09:59 RBWM have checked network infrastructure last night and couldn't find any faults. They will reboot both FirstClass servers at 22:30 this evening. 26/09/11 @ 09:12 Reboot of the FirstClass servers did not fix the issue. RBWM are now getting reports of this issue from other sources, not just TWBS or RWSC. They will request additional diagnostic information but we have pre-empted this and sent them the infromation that they will probably require. 26/09/11 @ 12:49 RBWM have now requested the information that they spoke about at 09:12 this morning. It is exactly the information which we have already supplied, so we have re-supplied it to them! 27/09/11 @ 08:53 RBWM report that FirstClass seems to be working OK. They do not have an explanation as to why it has been slow for the past week, nor can they provide any assurance that the problem will not recur. 28/09/11 @ 14:20 RBWM belive this issue is resolved although we are still experiencing problems. We have made them aware of this and await a reply. 30/09/11 @ 11:18 FirstClass seems to be working OK now, but no further comminucation from RBWM. Please ensure you report and further issues to Computer Services so we can raise them with RBWM if required. |
